Reachable by provincial roads both from Avio for Val dei Molini and from Brentonico - SP 3) for the Graziani refuge m. 1620, after about 5 km from San Valentino. From the parking lot after the Graziani refuge take the dirt road marked SAT 633 and go up to the Altissimo refuge.

This is the most accessible classic route both in summer, but also during the winter season with the ban on vehicular traffic.

First along the small road and then following path no. 622 up to Malga Campo at 1667 m, then continuing to Bocca Paltrane at 1831 m and finally along the NE ridge to reach the refuge.

This route is very popular in the winter season with ski mountaineering.

It can be reached either from the arrival point of the cable car that goes up from Malcesine, or by continuing along the provincial road of Monte Baldo coming from San Valentino passing through the Graziani refuge.

First walking for a stretch on an asphalt road until the junction on the left with the SAT 651 path and then continuing with a pleasant and panoramic climb along the Navene crest and subsequently the crests of the Lastè di Tolghe.

Then passing through Busa Brodeghera, take a short stretch of military road until you join the dirt road marked SAT 633 which leads to the Rifugio Altissimo.

From the village of San Valentino m, 1312, reachable from both Avio and Brentonico, take the SAT 650 “Sentiero delle Vipere” path to Corne di Bes. After a short equipped stretch and reaching Malga Bes m. 1516 continue towards Bocca del Creer m. 1624 and then to the Graziani Refuge m. 1617.

Immediately after the Graziani refuge, take the dirt road marked SAT 633 and go up to the Altissimo refuge.

From "QUOTA 1636", you must continue along path 633.

With the asphalt road up to the car park at about 1550 m north of Monte Varagna, then first along a dirt road and then along the SAT 601 path, continue towards Monte di Nago at 1875 m, then along the last uphill stretch you reach the Rifugio Altissimo.

Follow the signs for SAT 650 and then SAT 624 to Malga Campei di Sopra or Rifugio Campei m 1469. Continue along the SAT 624 path to Baita Grasso m. 1665, then after the Monte Varagna fork and along the Val del Parol you reach Bocca Paltrane, then joining the SAT 622 path coming from Malga Campo you continue towards Rifugio Altissimo.

Or towards the Monte Varagna crossroads at 1780 m, join the SAT 601 path towards Monte di Nago at 1875 m and then continue towards the Rifugio Altissimo.

Look at the altimetric profile in reverse and up to Malga Campei di Sotto, then follow the signs for path 624 and then 601.

Go up with the panoramic cable car. From Baita dei Forti m. 1752 follow the signpost n. 651 first walking on the long pasture of Colma di Malcesine and then going down joining after a short while the same road that comes from the arrival of the cable car, towards Bocca di Navene m. 1425. From here continuing for a short stretch on the main road you will then find on the left the signpost SAT 651 that goes up first to the crest of Navene and then to the crests of Lastè di Tolghe up to Busa Brodeghera and then continuing joining the dirt road that leads to Rifugio Altissimo.
